Joseke Grove Metropolitan Area Rapid Transit, operated by the Sagamore County Transit Authority.
History of SMART
SMART began as a corridor modernization program and now serves Joseke Grove, Briarwood, Maidnach, and Sagamore districts through an integrated rapid transit system.
Service Area
The authority provides fixed-route rapid transit service throughout the Sagamore metropolitan service area, with transfer hubs at Joseke Grove Central, Benjamin Station, and Union Terminal.
Operations
SMART operations are coordinated through SCTA operations control, with dedicated divisions for rolling stock, stations, rider information, and service planning.
Future Expansion
Phase 2 and Phase 3 planning is underway. Alignment work and station engineering continue; official stop rosters will be published before revenue service launch.
